Senior Housing HUD Lending On the Rise

Senior Housing News reports on HUD’s Lean mortgage insurance program, which closed $2.84 billion of loan volume during the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2016. Lancaster Pollard, which came in first among all lenders in total loan amount and transactions closed, was responsible for 21% of the total activity. The company has been the top HUD Lean lender since fiscal year 2010.

HUD Lean Program Ends Year with $4.21 Billion in Loan Production

Data recently released by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) shows that its Lean mortgage insurance program to finance seniors housing properties finished fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2014 with $4.21 billion of loan volume, a reduction of 27.8% as compared to the previous year’s record of $5.82 billion.

Lancaster Pollard Leads All Lenders in Seniors Housing Lending Activity

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced that its LEAN mortgage insurance program to finance seniors housing properties set a new record for its 2012 fiscal year ending Sept. 30, shattering the previous record set last year of $3.29 billion by more than 66%.
